"Meeting of faces, hands and voices, thoughts and smiles, hugs and looks. Meeting of lives once shared, but not removed disconnected. Want to be with what is now to remember, laugh, compare the present and look ahead. Please come back with memory to remember the past and what unites us, which brought us together, build, find and walk. "
This book was written by a priest friend of ours who now lives in Milan. With him, we walked for some years of our life as a young and still his home and his presence is reason for us to meet. it hard to choose a particular sentence to be carried forward for me to read it as a pleasant evening in his company. It 's a meeting in heart and mind with a person who has left marks in my life. It 's the memory of dialogues and discussions, to open arms to welcome and then in a tight embrace. Saturday night we went to dinner at his house and everything is still around me, resent the laughter, comments, shout and those words spoken in a low voice. I see the eyes of those who were near and those who were on the other end of the table and everything makes me a little 'homesick. I thank those who were and those who unfortunately could not be the last moment, I thank those who with his usual simplicity, we accepted.
"... there is in my desire to walk a little longer with you, beyond the pages of this letter, the unpredictable and beautiful way back which is the life of each of us: a return to where someone is waiting for us why does it well. Take these words of mine and all the others that I wrote for what little they are worth and they are. I am sure that behind you know they read my affection and my heart. See you soon "
